Our Values and Ethos All of the Academies within The Trust will be guided by Christian principles.
The Academy will build on this legacy to offer a comprehensive education that will improve every student's educational experience.
In a school setting, the diversity of culture, ethnic origin, and life experience reflects a strong resource for spiritual and moral development.
Both of these spiritual perspectives are in line with those of The Trust's Sponsor.
We want our kids to inform their families about their unforgettable and engaging learning experiences when they get home.
Experiences that help students remember the information needed to ace exams and experiences that help students grow as people as well as academically.
Our interest is fostering young people's growth into capable, self-assured adults who are prepared for the future.
British Ideals The Trust is pleased with the complete representation of our racially and culturally diverse community among the students and faculty at each Academy.
The core British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, respect for one another, and tolerance of people of other religions and beliefs are completely embraced by the Q3 ethos, which is to "seek that which is good, that which is right, and that which is true."
These ideals are ingrained in our daily work and the interactions among all members of our community and are reinforced by our steadfast ethos.
Tutor Time and daily assemblies are additional events that further promote British values.
international events include the CCD Rainbow House initiative, which involves a yearly trip by students and staff from Q3 Academies to work with children in an orphanage for a week.
To make sure that these principles are expressed and upheld, we employ tactics both within the curriculum and outside of it.
The Academy's curriculum is infused with spiritual, moral, social, and cultural (SMSC) education, which promotes the growth of the "whole child" and includes the promotion of British Values.
The accomplishment of the accolades listed below shows how SMSC and British Values are applied to every aspect of Academy life.
Discovering Democracy Award for encouraging student involvement and democracy in the classroom.
Aspire Education Our "Aspire" curriculum supports British Values while focusing on increasing pupils' awareness of current global concerns.
In terms of academic success and awareness of the difficulties experienced by young people, students are ready for the real world. ' Aspire' covers a number of areas within 'Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural' (SMSC) education.
We explore: life skills and preparation for working life; careers; friendships; bullying; internet safety (including sexting); drugs education; dealing with stress; sex education, the Prevent agenda and Radicalisation.
We also draw upon the local community, council and eternal agencies to provide our students with a well-rounded education and real life experiences.
For example, DECCA (Drug Education, Counselling and Confidential Advice) discuss and raise awareness around the topic of drugs with our KS3 and KS4 students and Brook Advisory Service support our KS4 cohort to ensure Sex Education is presented in a controlled learning environment.
