Phoenix is "a fantastic location to work, an inspiring place to learn, and a chance that will change your life."
Phoenix Collegiate is a multiethnic 11–19 foundation school with 1850 students that is located in the northern part of West Bromwich, close to the Walsall border.
When the school first opened in September 2010, it quickly made a name for itself as one of the fastest-improving in the neighbourhood. We earned this distinction by committing to constantly enhancing the effectiveness of teaching and learning and giving our students engaging, exciting, and dynamic learning opportunities.
We began relocating into our cutting-edge facilities in 2017, and the work will be finished in the fall of 2019.
At Phoenix, we place a high value on academic achievement because we know how transformative an excellent education can be for our students.
Phoenix, however, aims to do more than just provide excellent credentials; it also aims to develop our young people's character and sense of worth, as well as to open their minds, foster their desire, and motivate them to accomplish beyond their wildest dreams.
An illustration of this is our CCF unit, which was founded in September 2017 with a Royal Navy portion but was later expanded to include a Royal Air Force section starting in September 2019 due to its success and positive effects on our students.
We think that the potential of each and every one of our pupils is limitless.
We are a school that is happy with its accomplishments and optimistic about the future.
Although a website can only give you a taste of what we do and the opportunities that await those who choose to study or work with us, I hope that after browsing it you will have a better understanding of what motivates us at Phoenix.
