At Wombourne High School, we highly value diligence, optimism, and kindness.
Wombourne High School is dedicated to fostering an environment where compassion is the standard for all that is accomplished, to a healthy school culture, and to the conviction that great things are possible.
In September 2019, Wombourne High School had a renaming (formally Ounsdale High School).
The new name honours an eventful period in the school's history.
The façade of the school has been renovated, a new 10-classroom teaching building is currently being erected, and facilities are being upgraded all across the campus.
Academic performance is quite good, and academic standards continue to be the cornerstone of everything accomplished.
We are happy to be associated with Wombourne High School, a thriving high school serving the Wombourne community.
Wombourne High School, a founding member of the Invictus Education Multi-Academy Trust, is a part of a carefully thought-out partnership of six highly successful, self-selected schools.
We encourage students from both inside and outside of our catchment area to apply, especially those from Dudley and Wolverhampton.
