Being a member of West Walsall E-ACT Academy is an enormous honour for me, and I am tremendously happy to be the new head of school. My ethos is straightforward: I hold that. Everybody has the right to live their lives to the fullest potential. To make it happen, it is up to all of us. We must hold all of our kids to high standards for behaviour, academic effort, and accomplishment in order to achieve this. All of our kids should develop into successful adults who are thoughtful, diligent, and well-rounded. We will ensure that all students receive the support necessary to achieve their full potential and we are passionate about ensuring that our students can compete with any other student from any other school in the wider world of work and college. I firmly think that parents actively participate in their children's education and that parent support is essential to the success of the school. As part of this, I expect parents and students to sign a contract at the beginning of the year to commit to our standards. At various times throughout the year, I also anticipate parents visiting the school to talk to me about their child's growth. As two-way communication is essential, I strongly encourage you to get in touch with me. Please contact reception for an appointment if you are able to come in, if not please email me on [email protected] or contact me on the academy number 01922 720741.
