Assuring a seamless transition from primary school to St. Michael's Church of England High School is the first step in the cooperation.
In order for your child's existing level of achievement to be recognised and built upon from the moment they arrive at our school, a thorough programme of familiarisation visits to our campus is carried out, along with meetings of our staff with their primary colleagues.
A "Settling-in" evening is hosted in the first term for new Year 7 pupils at St. Michael's Church of England High School to update parents on their first academic progress.
Form tutors keep an eye on each student's welfare and development while supporting their studies throughout the school.
Through a code of conduct that emphasises the value of courtesy, respect for others, and pride in one's appearance, the school fosters a structured learning environment.
