We appreciate you visiting the website of Altrincham Grammar School for Boys. AGSB is a selective grammar school that offers boys between the ages of 11 and 18 an excellent academic education. Our exam scores at the GCSE and A level routinely position us among the top performing schools in the nation. Expectations and aspirations are high. At AGSB, we value education in its broadest sense and support athletes who succeed in sports, the performing arts, engineering, the creative sciences, and debating. Our goal is to give our students the tools they need to make a positive impact on society long after they leave our programme. Every boy receives a solid foundation from our pastoral structures, which support their development into self-assured, healthy, and inquisitive young men who also exhibit the values of tolerance and respect. Despite being a big school, AGSB nonetheless maintains the welcoming, familial feel for which it is well known in the neighbourhood.
