We appreciate you taking the time to visit our website, which, we hope, makes the most pertinent information easily accessible to parents and students. I could, of course, at this point (as is the norm) spend time 'waxing lyrical' about how wonderful a school we are, how dedicated the staff and how our fabulous young people inspire me every single day, but if you spend a few minutes on the website, you'll find that out for yourself. Naturally, there are the statutory elements of the site such as exam results, Ofsted report, SEN policy, information pertaining to Pupil Premium eligible students and much more besides, but perhaps it is the Calendar, This Week and Latest News sections that will be of most interest. If you are a "avid" reader of my weekly bulletin, you can choose to either read it from beginning to end or just skip to a specific feature. Parents may eventually choose to get "alerts" on the subjects, events, themes, sports, year groups, and other information of their choosing. It's all quite exciting. In the end, it is anticipated that the website will promote greater community involvement in school life in Wellington and act as a genuine celebration of our children.

I left wellington high school in 2018, the lack of care for the students really show, if you are not in the top sets, they are not interested in you, the bullying in this school is disgusting they have no procedures in place to support the students who are falling victim to it, some of the teachers are lovely and extremely supportive, but the majority are disgusting knocking down children’s confidence and I quote “...
