Thank you for visiting Woodheys Primary School!
Being the head teacher of such a lively and enjoyable school where everyone works incredibly hard and has high expectations for one another makes me happy and proud.
In order to ensure that every student reaches their potential, we are dedicated to the highest standards of teaching and learning, which are attained via a combination of challenge, support, encouragement, and praise.
You'll discover a kind, inclusive, and engaging learning environment at Woodheys Primary, where relationships are based on respect for one another.
Students at Woodheys Primary School acquire lifetime learning skills.
Our mindset is centred on achievement and a "can do" mentality, and we support this by cultivating students' creativity, promoting autonomous thinking and learning, and demonstrating that failures can be used as opportunities to learn.
We pride ourselves on being a forward-thinking institution, and Ofsted agreed (June 2017).
We have received national recognition and accreditation for both our desire to be the finest sporting school in Trafford and for our capacity to support and improve the learning opportunities in music and the arts (Artsmark Gold and Music mark) (Sportsmark Gold).

Woodheys Primary School Reviews

All three of my children have gone to woodheys I wouln,t choose anywhere else. Staff are friendly, approachable and help in both identifying children's strengths and help children gain in their weaknesses. A great opportunity to try out new activities both in and after school and opportunity's to join school teams to represent their school . I would strongly recommend this school to anyone that asked me .
