From the Wanstead Church School
Wanstead Church School is a top-notch, one-form entry, oversubscribed church school located in the centre of Wanstead. In all that we do, we uphold a strong Christian ethos and closely collaborate with Christ Church. The Gospel Values underpin the children's learning experiences at Wanstead Church School: Peace, Truth, Love, Fairness, Courage, Forgiveness, Respect, Hope, Compassion and Wisdom. Although we are a small school, the children and staff make the school a happy and vibrant place and we are very well supported by a strong and professional governing body, which includes members of the church community. We are quite fortunate that our parents give generously to the school, and we are proud of our happy school climate. Our students achieve high levels throughout the school thanks to our rigorous and engaging curriculum, which adequately prepares them for their secondary education. The school, which was first constructed in 1790, has played a significant role in the town for more than 200 years. Even though the school is excellent, we are constantly searching for ways to make it better and make sure the kids get the highest possible education. We appreciate you visiting our website. Please get in touch with the school office if you need any additional information.
