From the Aldersbrook Primary School
Greetings from our school.
At Aldersbrook, we are passionate about building a learning environment filled with inquisitive, self-assured, engaged, and independent learners for life.
When students are curious, learning becomes a part of their entire lives—beyond the four walls of the classroom and the school gate—and they begin to ask questions about the world around them.
These skills are developed in our Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 classrooms using a Montessori approach to learning, and they are strengthened as the students go through the school.
Our innovative curriculum offer includes Forest School, the termly "Big Question," "Green Fingers" learning on our school allotment, and our termly "Curiosity Shop" options. Our curriculum aims to foster all of these skills in our students, beginning with our Montessori approach to learning in Early Years and Key Stage 1.
We place a great premium on British Principles, which we cherish as our own, in addition to our fundamental values of curiosity, confidence, involvement, and independence.
We consider them to be the "keys to success" and, as a result, we make sure that our curriculum offers lots of chances to develop these enduring talents.
We think that if all of our students acquire these talents, we will be well-prepared to succeed in our complex and constantly changing world.
You have the right to progress and learn in a secure and engaging environment as an Aldersbook student.
You have the right to anticipate that your kid will enjoy studying and advance at Aldersbrook as a parent.
