The goal of UCPS, the first university training school, is to offer a comprehensive and well-balanced curriculum that goes beyond the National Curriculum.
These ideals are ingrained in the school's ethos and are taught across the curriculum.
Our carefully built facility features an additional learning street in between each open-plan classroom space since it drew inspiration from study into educational environments from throughout the world.
The Learning Street strives to deepen classroom instruction through playful inquiry and to involve kids in a variety of learning experiences while fostering trust, creativity, self-discipline, and autonomy.
We are quite fortunate to have a sizable outside area that we view as an additional learning room with outdoor learning opportunities.
Our goal is to raise caring people who improve their communities.
We have built our curriculum around three pedagogical tools: habits of mind, oracy and dialogue, and playful inquiry because we take this job very seriously.

As stated in the Cambridge Primary Review (Alexander, 2010) and the DfE's British values guidance, our school was founded on democratic principles.
We cherish and work to celebrate diversity in all of its manifestations because we recognise that it helps us better understand who we are.
The values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and respect for one another, which acknowledges the diversity of belief systems and religions, are promoted through our policies, curriculum, and pedagogy.
We encourage our kids to be kind, engaged citizens who challenge prejudice in all its manifestations.
The school is dedicated to making sure that all students are secure, and they take seriously their duty to prevent extremist beliefs in accordance with our Prevent Duty.
