From the Sybil Andrews Academy
Our school is based on an ethos based on the notion of mutual respect, a strong set of principles, powerful, supportive connections, and high hopes and ambition for all. It is situated just north of Bury St Edmunds in an attractive, university-style campus.
Our goals are basic.
All of our students should succeed academically, think creatively, and develop into self-assured, civic-minded individuals.
We want everyone to be the best version of themselves, but we also demand more from them.
We think that in order for learning to be meaningful, the curriculum that students follow needs to be comprehensive, balanced, and highly challenging for everyone.
Through involvement in our creative club programmes, we hope to increase students' self-assurance. We also deliberately place an emphasis on the growth of leadership abilities.
All students who enrol in the academy will be given a learning coach who will serve as an advocate and mentor. It is their responsibility to work with you in cooperation to ensure that your child succeeds.
Community is important to us.
