The gospel principles at St. Mary's RC Primary School are what make it the ideal catholic elementary school—fun, engaging, compassionate, and forward-thinking.
Although we don't know what jobs our children will hold in the future—they may not even exist yet—at St. Mary's, we work to give our students the skills and information they need to not just be successful, but to exceed all expectations.
Dee Raynor is my name, and I'm honoured to lead St. Mary's RC Primary School.
With 236 students and a nursery, we can accommodate kids from 3 to 11 years old.
As St. Mary reminds us, "God is love, and He loves us as we are," we carry out our purpose in accordance with our core principles of love, respect, faith, inspire, and achieve.
All of our kids have access to top-notch sporting events and competitions to encourage a love of exercise and a healthy lifestyle as a result of being a part of the Salford Sports Partnership and having recently received the Platinum Games award.
However, we understand that success varies from person to person and that sport is a great equaliser, so we are eager to promote inclusive events because we just want our kids to be active.
Our school's creative curriculum and outdoor learning opportunities, which make advantage of the surroundings, are additional benefits.
Our creative arts week is only one of the many artistic events offered as part of our outstanding arts curriculum throughout the year.
We provide "Premier Sports" for kids ages 4 to 11 after school that are open to students from St Mary's.
Our Governing Body is very supportive of all we do, and they frequently visit the school to challenge and assist administrators in keeping standards high and moving the organisation forward.
To reach our straightforward objective of having every single kid in our school be the best they can be, our entire school community works together.
Through our five key beliefs, we constantly work to help our students become more like Jesus.
When OFSTED last inspected us in June 2008, we were quite happy to receive an overall grade of "Outstanding."
