The St. George the Martyr Church of England Primary School is pleased to welcome you. As headteacher, I work together with parents, students, governors, and staff to build a school where every student receives the greatest possible start in their academic career. Nelson Mandela is credited with saying that "education is the most effective weapon you can use to change the world," and in my opinion, this statement sums up perfectly what we at St. George the Martyr Church of England Primary School are all about. The children are to "Go Shine in the World and live as Jesus did with Compassion, Honesty & Integrity," according to our vision. All children can grow to their full and unique potential in our nurturing, secure, intellectually and creatively challenging environment. The team is passionate about making sure your kid has a joyful, fruitful, and successful time at school so that they can confidently move onto the next level of their education and ultimately contribute positively to society as adults. We are immensely proud of the way we approach increasing student accomplishment across the curriculum by encouraging the growth of self-assurance, drive, independence, creativity, and teamwork in all we do. As part of its commitment to promoting equality of opportunity, St. George the Martyr CE Primary School accepts students of all racial and religious origins. Even though we have a strongly Christian ethos, we also value and respect the diversity in our community and work to put all children on the right road in life by teaching them to be kind, considerate, and understanding of one another as well as to respect one another's differences.
