From the Kentish Town Church of England Primary School
Established in 1815 to educate the poor children of the local area, Kentish Town Church of England Primary School is an outstanding one form entry primary and nursery school. As a Church of England school, we seek to educate children from Christian families as well as those from other faiths and those who have no faith. Our work is guided by the spiritual values of: Love , Equality and Compassion and underpinned by the parable of The Good Samaritan. Our school is highly inclusive, having additional resource bases for the inclusion of 6 children with physical disabilities and 15 children with autism. OFSTED described our provision for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities as "exceptional" in December 2017. We also run the Camden Learning SEND Hub, collaborating with schools across the authority to ensure that Camden children receive the best possible support in their schools. We are proud to hold the Gold UNICEF Rights Respecting School Award, placing our children's views at the centre of what we do. We passionately believe that by living in London, our children should take full advantage of everything it can offer them: opportunities in sport, art and music, as well as academic excellence. As a partner in the Camden Primary Teaching School Alliance, we are committed to training and developing our staff to the highest levels. We are often asked to train and develop staff from other schools through this alliance and by Camden Local Authority, Challenge Partners Network of Excellence and the Diocese of London. There is a commitment to the pursuit of excellence at all levels within our school. Our school is a happy place, where every member of staff does their best for our children.
