I'd like to extend a warm greeting to you on behalf of the students, teachers, and governors at North Cheshire Jewish Primary School (NCJPS).
Being the headteacher of such a magnificent school, the only Jewish school in South Manchester, located on expansive grounds in Heald Green, makes me feel incredibly proud.
Every student at NCJPS benefits from a loving environment, and we take pleasure in having a compassionate and committed team that works relentlessly to make every child feel important.
Our kids at NCJPS have a strong Jewish ethos, are self-assured and proud of their Judaism, and feel strongly about their local community and the State of Israel.
The opportunity to serve as the new Chair of Governors excites me greatly.
The children's welfare and well-being are at the forefront of our focus and our plans at North Cheshire Jewish Primary School, where the Governors, teachers, and support staff all strive to work together to provide a first-class standard of secular and Jewish education in a nurturing environment for our students.
The ongoing successes of our kids and the high standards upheld in both learning and behaviour make us incredibly proud.
At North Cheshire, we greatly believe in respect. In fact, we invented the acronym "RESPECT" to instil values in the children and foster important ideas about how to learn and connect with one another.
Please read our website to learn more about the school, and if you have any questions, comments, or recommendations, don't hesitate to get in touch with me or any other Governor.
In order to serve the Jewish populations in South Manchester, North Cheshire Jewish Primary School was established.
We are unapologetically Zionistic in our viewpoint and are happy to be wholly devoted to Halachah, Jewish Law and Tradition.
Despite our deep pride in being Jews, we appreciate understanding of other faiths and actively promote tolerance for diversity.
To this purpose, we have a cooperation with St. Monica's Catholic Primary School that deepens intercommunal communication and trust while fostering respect for and knowledge of various religions.
The foundation of the NCJPS is its department of Jewish studies.
All of the students in Reception through Year 6 will receive a true Jewish education from us as we work to infuse the school with a distinctively Jewish atmosphere.
The Jewish Studies programme presents the fundamental principles of Jewish practise and belief while teaching Hebrew reading and a working knowledge of the Torah and mitzvot.
Jewish Studies lessons aim to develop intellectual, emotional and spiritual growth, and instil a pride and self-confidence in our children of their Jewishness, and of the Jewish Homeland Israel.
We are proud British citizens, and believe that our Jewishness can, and should, enhance our appreciation for, and understanding of, our British Values and Citizenship.
