The learning community at Jewellery Quarter Academy holds each student under its care to the highest standards and objectives.
The "CORE" ideals of cooperation, opportunity, respect, and excellence form the foundation of our Academy.
To increase our kids' chances for success in life, we work as a cohesive team.
In other words, the personnel at the Academy collaborates to continuously raise the standard of instruction that each student receives.
We work with outside experts that frequently assess our methods in order to provide kids with a top-notch education that will prepare them for the future.
For this reason, Jewellery Quarter Academy offers students the possibility to earn internationally renowned Duke of Edinburgh Awards and membership in the Combined Cadet Force (CCF), both of which improve their lives.
Additionally, we provide after-school, on weekends, and during holidays extracurricular clubs that cater to a variety of preferences and interests. We have something for everyone, whether it be extra time for teachers to prepare for examinations, DJing and music creation, or a project-based theatre club (with Birmingham's Recre8now teams).
At Jewellery Quarter Academy, respect for one another, for the local and larger community, for British and global history, and for one another is fundamental to everything we do.
To make the area more aesthetically pleasing and clutter-free, we are actively collaborating with JQBID's "Clean Up" team.
Our students are a part of an extremely exciting initiative with English Heritage, who intend to restore and revitalise a number of nearby historical properties to their former splendour.
The Academy is honoured to be a pioneering institution for "Echo Eternal" in Holocaust remembrance, working with survivors and telling their memories via the visual and performing arts.
