Being the headteacher of this amazing school makes me feel incredibly blessed and proud. Since I started working here in September 2017, I've been struck by the excellent pupils, whose love of learning is only matched by their consideration and caring for one another. They are courteous, hardworking, aspirational young people who never cease to amaze and thrill us with their innovations, imagination, and successes. The team are outstanding professionals who provide stimulating, demanding, and motivational learning experiences to help students meet high standards. All of this is done inside a framework with very high expectations. In our efforts to ensure high standards of behaviour, service, care, appearance, and courtesy for all, we are constant, relentless, and persistent. We also have a great time! Everyone has the right to feel safe at all times in our cheerful school. We approach conflicts and challenges with a solution-focused, methodical, encouraging, and nonviolent approach, treating others as we would like to be treated. But don't just believe what I say! In our most recent inspection, the Lead Inspector said what follows: "Students behave well and have excellent attitudes toward learning. They are good representatives of their school both inside and outside the classroom because they are proud of it. They appreciate the excellent instruction they receive and are appreciative of the many extracurricular possibilities offered to them." 2018 March; Ofsted. In order to improve ourselves and the world around us, we strive to be the best versions of ourselves. We hope you'll come along on our fascinating journey with us.
