As the head teacher of Hawthorn Primary School, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you. I have had the good fortune to visit and help schools in numerous authorities over my more than 20 years in the education field. I have worked in Early Years, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two and look forward to getting to know everyone in the school community; children, parents and staff and working together to inspire ALL children to achieve their full potential with an expectation of excellence from all stakeholders. I am a mother of two and fervently believe that kids need the greatest education possible. I will endeavor to work with all stakeholders to enable children of Hawthorn School to become confident successful learners with the motivation, skills and responsibility to make a positive difference, now and in the future. For a child's growth, the early years of education are essential. It is a wonderful honour for me to serve as the head teacher of Hawthorn Primary School, and I am very enthusiastic about the road ahead.
