From the Harris Academy Beckenham
We appreciate you taking the time to learn about the most recent activities and news at Harris Academy Beckenham. We are currently in our eighth year after becoming a sponsored academy, and things are going great! This September, we finally moved into our brand-new, cutting-edge building, and we couldn't be happier. The faculty and students have adapted well to their new surroundings and are happy with the large, contemporary facilities we now enjoy. "The aspirational and ambitious ethos of the school is evident in the classroom." Teachers have high expectations for their students and are aspirational toward them. Students react favourably. They are adamant about doing their best and are optimistic about achieving the lofty goals their professors have set. We are now completely co-ed, having girls in every grade from 7 to 13. As a result of our extremely successful recruitment campaign, both the Year 7 and Year 12 classes were oversubscribed. As you can see from our website, our commitment to scientific enterprise has a big influence on the learning opportunities that our students are exposed to and helps to enrich the curriculum both within and outside of the classroom. Focusing on the learning attitudes of resilience, reflection, resourcefulness, and reciprocity, we are helping our students build vital life skills that will help them succeed in school and beyond. Please take some time to explore our website's many new areas to learn more about the curriculum and services we provide. We're excited to share upcoming events with you and recognise the achievements of our kids.
