To be committed to the mental well-being of staff, students and the local community through prevention, intervention and education. Well-being Message of the Year To embark on a path within our school and ensure compassion, acceptance, respect, with each step we take together. Every child and adolescent has the right to receive an education in a setting that encourages and supports everyone's good mental health. Every adult has the right to work in a setting that values and encourages everyone's good mental health. Through our fundraising activities this academic year, we decided to help the British Heart Foundation. To raise money and awareness for their work, we staged a number of events all year long. We participated in the 'Jump Rope' skipping challenge, held a bake sale, held non-uniform days and made crafts in order to raise money for the BHF. We also gave over 80 bags of gently used clothing, books, and toys as part of the "Bag it, Beat it" initiative. The British Heart Foundation came to the school to help us celebrate raising a total of 2470 for them. In addition to fundraising for the British Heart Foundation we have also raised 60 for the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund by selling ribbons on World AIDS Day and over 90 for the Holocaust Memorial Fund by selling wrist bands on Holocaust Memorial Day.
