St. Bonaventure's has a lengthy and illustrious past.
Only the London Oratory is older than St. Bonaventure's, which is one of the nation's oldest Catholic boys' schools. The school was founded on its current site by Franciscan Friars in 1877.
We are celebrating 140 years of education in Forest Gate in 2017. Although much has changed in the world since then, one thing has not changed: the daily love and care that each student receives from devoted staff and teachers.
We are a Roman Catholic institution built on the principles of the gospel, and the boys here play a significant role in the wider faith community.
At St. Bonaventure's, Christian principles are at the core of everything we do.
We expect all of our pupils to put in a lot of effort and always give it their all.
We will help them by giving them the best learning environment and education possible in a setting of discipline, order, and Christian love.
St. Bonaventure's continues to be an excellent school, according to a report from an inspection conducted in March 2009 under the direction of one of Her Majesty's Inspectors of Schools.
We are incredibly proud of our kids and faculty.
The fact that St. Bonaventure's is such a remarkable institution makes me quite proud, and I want to express my gratitude to all of the current and former students, faculty, and staff for their dedication to both their education and their church.
On a local, a national, and an international scale, we assist charity.
