From the Eastlea Community School
In Canning Town, Newham, we are a community school that accepts students of both sexes. Every child receives academic challenges in a setting that is safe, supportive, and kind. We are currently working with the Newham Community Schools Trust, which consists of the outstanding neighbourhood schools Rokeby, Sarah Bonnell, and Lister. As a result, all of the community trust schools offer a variety of enrichment opportunities for our children, as well as opportunities for collaboration. If they have the opportunity, we also encourage our students to pursue a degree in their mother tongue. Additional reading and arithmetic teaching may also be given to students who need it. A team of tutors who are familiar with and supportive of their tutees throughout their time in school, a committed Pastoral Manager who manages the pastoral needs of their students, and an Achievement Leader who guides the year group in their growth as individuals and in their academic accomplishments make up each year group. At Eastlea, all of our children are held to the highest standards. The regulations at our school support equitable and open disciplinary procedures that meet the needs of our diverse student group. In all it does, the school strives to be the best. Like any good parent, we provide our kids with the resources and challenges they need to grow up happy and successful. At Eastlea, we work to create a safe and supportive environment where each student can learn, grow, and succeed. To ensure that your child has a terrific educational experience, we always go above and beyond. I am confident that your child will gain a great deal from their time at this institution, and I am looking forward to working with you to ensure their success.
