Our students are held to the highest standards of punctuality and attendance.
The student's future in the school will be reviewed if they are unable to consistently satisfy the expectations placed on all sixth formers with relation to their work, attendance, punctuality, and uniform.
Sixth Formers are expected to wear their uniforms with pride and without complaint as a result.
Before entering the sixth form, pupils are made aware of the uniform standards, and those who fail to comply will face swift and unambiguous repercussions.
It is required of you as a parent to unwaveringly support the school's uniform policy.
Naturally, students participate actively in the Sixth Form and School's larger community.
Additionally, sixth formers are still a vital component of the school's active musical, theatrical, and sporting communities.
Sixth Formers also receive a scheduled "Enrichment" class each week where they engage in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
Our enrichment programme is structured like a university and runs on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.
Through our renowned PSHE programme, which runs on two dates during the year, the Director of Sixth Form and Heads of Year also organise a programme of visiting speakers to address the students on a number of pertinent themes.
Every year, a mentor and the students stay in close contact to talk about their academic progress, present grade levels, and long-term objectives.
A robust student tracking mechanism is also in place.
Sixth Formers are aware of the minimal grade they should earn in their chosen courses by the time they are in Year 12, and their performance after that is continually measured against these benchmarks.
A significant evaluation of students' development is conducted at the end of Year 12.
Several options are considered if a Sixth Former is found to be underperforming. In exceptional instances, a student may be forced to leave the Sixth Form if their performance falls far short of expectations (without justifiable cause).
In order to automatically advance to Year 13, students must typically receive at least a C on internal exams.
One of the school's greatest assets is the service it provides, which embodies the school's slogan, "Love as Brethren."
Sixth formers are essential to our project.
School captains, vice captains, sixth form captains, and games captains make up the structure of the sixth form.
Sixth Form Captains have administrative and social obligations particularly inside the Sixth Form, in contrast to School Captains, Vice-Captains, and Games Captains who have wider school responsibilities.
Additionally, sixth-graders are appointed as prefects to every class in Years 7 through 11.
The School regards all members of the Sixth Form as prefects in their own right; all Sixth Formers will be expected to work in collaboration with peers and staff and will be given day-to-day jobs and longer term duties in the running of the School.
