From the Babington Academy
Our school, which values inclusiveness and diversity, makes us very proud.
We put forth a lot of effort to support students in aspiring to and achieving success in our culture of high expectations and no tolerance for failure.
On October 1st, 2016, we changed our name from Babington Community College to Babington Academy and joined the "Learning without Limits Academy Trust."
We are a larger-than-average secondary school in North-West Leicester, drawing students from all across the city.
We have experienced significant growth in recent years, and we are currently growing by adding 300 more students over a two-year period.
Following our re-accreditation for the Inclusion Quality Mark (2018 & 2019), we are recognised as a centre of excellence for inclusion, and we are presently working to become a Flagship school.
For our efforts to provide for more gifted and talented students, we won the National Association for Able Children in Education (NACE) Challenge Award in June 2018.
The third re-accreditation with the E-Qualities Award came after that.
Finally, the British Council reaccredited us with the International Schools Award in July 2018.
All graduates at Babington have the knowledge, abilities, and self-assurance necessary to succeed in a demanding and ever-changing environment.
