In order to help satisfy the local need for school spaces, the new primary school Abacus Belsize Primary School was established in September 2013 through the Free Schools Program.
Our goal is to create a learning atmosphere that encourages each kid to develop their unique abilities, curiosities, and thinking skills to the fullest.
The development of children as people and as members of society is something we at Abacus are committed to.
We want to instil in kids a sense of self and belonging in the world.
Our curriculum is extensive, ambitious, and tailored to the individual needs of every student.
Through songs, rhymes, and dancing, children will become exposed to a foreign language and culture early on.
We are a modest, welcoming school that serves a socially diverse neighbourhood.
We welcome parents, carers, and community members and urge them to take an active role in our children's education because our school was built by and for the community.
