Individuals are appreciated at Woodstock CE Primary and supported in doing their personal best work.
We think that the loving, encouraging, and sociable atmosphere at Woodstock Primary is what gives the school its "unique feel."
I'm incredibly proud to be the team leader of a group that is dedicated to the welfare of kids, setting high standards, and giving everyone in our care the finest opportunity possible.
In order to provide children with a rich and demanding curriculum, to prepare them for future learning, and to help them develop the skills and enthusiasm necessary to embrace the chances, responsibilities, and experiences of later life, staff, assisted by governors, put in a lot of effort.
A curriculum that inspires and encourages children's imaginations and creative thinking, as well as staff that provide a cheerful, supportive, and purposeful atmosphere, give the school an outstanding start.
A cross-curricular approach is used to present the curriculum, which is further strengthened by whole-school themed days and other activities like "Big Questions" to encourage inquiry-led learning.
When Ofsted conducted its most recent inspection of the school in October 2013, it found it to be "excellent" in all significant categories and in terms of its overall effectiveness of provision.
One of the reasons the school has excelled is because the calibre of instruction is a constant focus.

While our school is self-evaluative and sets its own goals, we are honoured to be named one of "The Times Top 250 state primary schools in England" and to be recognised as a National Teaching School.
