All of the skateholders—students, educators, parents, governors, and members of the larger community—selected our core principles. The core of what Combe CE Primary School stands for is COMMUNITY, where everyone is wanted and valued. The structures, which are in the village's centre, were built in the 1860s to cater to the needs of the neighborhood's youngsters. The school has close ties to the St. Laurence church, the local businesses, and the "reading room." Through our extensive and well-balanced curriculum, the kids actively participate in challenging the society in which they live. They do this by being curious and creative. Throughout the year, the kids plan and carry out activities to earn money for charity of their own choosing. A value we seek to uphold is COMPASSION. When St. Laurence endured suffering alongside the poor, he showed compassion. Our kids are conscious of their circumstances, and the school works to promote a compassionate environment that values respect, honesty, and humility. A value that we uphold and practise is WISDOM. In addition to education and knowledge, wisdom at Combe reflects making the right choices, acting in wise ways, doing the right thing being based in reverence for God.
