Hello and welcome to Woodford County High School's Sixth Form.
In order to honour the "Woodford Spirit" in all that we do as Sixth Form students, we must support one another, put up our best effort, and persevere beyond all obstacles that stand in the way of realising our full potential.
As a student who attended Woodford in the sixth form, I have witnessed firsthand how well students are supported by the outstanding faculty and staff, who consistently give their all to help students succeed.
I genuinely think that Woodford's tutorial system, which gives pupils the option to speak with an experienced teacher about their academic progress every two weeks, is a crucial component of life in the sixth form here.
Woodford emphasises how crucial it is for pupils to understand that they are a member of a community.
The Year 12 voluntary service programme highlights the value of giving back to the community by enabling Sixth Form students to donate their time to support regional nonprofit organisations.
It didn't take me long to realise Woodford is extraordinarily steeped in tradition after joining last September.
As I've hopefully demonstrated, Woodford is always there for its pupils, and this special "Woodford Spirit" is what makes our school successful.
