From the Holy Family Catholic School
"An ethos is a way of life, behaviour, and doing things by individuals who, despite their differences, have a same set of values and a similar outlook on the world." (
As a Catholic institution, everything we do includes daily prayer and worship.
For this, we offer a variety of opportunities.
Every week, we give workers and kids the option to go to Mass at each location.
During other seasons of the year, we attend Mass at Our Lady and St. George's church in the school.
During Advent and Lent, students have the chance to partake in the sacrament of reconciliation.
The ethos penetrates all area of school life, as stated in the following quote: "The curriculum as a whole, and every portion of it, is religious, as there is nothing which does not ultimately connect to God."
(Assessing the Catholic school's Unique Characteristics.)
We bear the name "The Holy Family" on purpose.
The ideals of our school are profoundly influenced by the family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.
Being supportive of one another is crucial.
There are no outsiders; we are all one big family.
We must watch out for the weak, lonesome, lost, and disturbed people among us.
Our goal at Holy Family is to mentor young people in their academic pursuits, religious beliefs, and moral behaviour.
