Our goal at Winkfield St. Mary's is for all students, faculty, and members of the school community to strive to fulfil their God-given potential by cultivating their intellectual, interpersonal, and spiritual gifts. We also want to give students the essential life skills and mental toughness they need to positively impact the world around them. John 10:10 states, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." Of course, wisdom encompasses all of the academic knowledge acquired in school, and students will study a variety of topics and concepts while in school. All students at Winkfield St. Mary's are expected to make good academic progress. However being wise is not the same as being smart or clever, and it can include numerous other areas such as: common sense, being 'people smart', thinking deeply, making good choices and understanding how things work, to name but a few. Our goal at Winkfield St. Mary's is to encourage wisdom in all of its forms so that our students can realise their potential and be prepared for the future. The word "wonder" has a wide range of associations and a deep meaning. Our goal is to foster a sense of wonder in children. They, for instance, ponder why things are the way they are, how they may affect change, God and the magnificent world we live in, and how their education relates to other subjects. It displays more in-depth academic, social, and spiritual thought that the school hopes to foster. Our goal at Winkfield St. Mary's is to foster wonder in all of its manifestations so that our students' lives are enhanced and expanded.
