I'm excited to take this chance to welcome you to the website of our distinctive primary school, where we strive to motivate everyone to do their very best. Cranbourne is, above all, a joyful school. As we reach the fourth century, you will discover that a welcoming spirit is still present throughout school life. At our most recent OFSTED inspection in November 2018, the school received an OUTSTANDING grade across the board. The inspectors commended the school's high standards and highlighted how effective and challenging the teaching is in all areas of the school. Importantly, Ofsted also noted that the students feel safe and that the school is joyful and quiet, with good behaviour. We offer a rigorous academic programme with a wide range of electives. Our children may learn outside of the classroom because of our rural location, and a variety of activities and outings are made possible by our dedicated staff and engaged parent community. Our vibrant Parent Teacher Association, a group of parents who work extremely hard to raise more funds for our students to experience additional activities, is valued for its support. Despite the fact that our traditions are never far from the surface, our school is constantly working to enhance itself. I believe those of you who are already familiar with Cranbourne will find this website to be a valuable resource for knowledge. I hope it will help those of you who don't start to understand what makes our school unique. Contact the school office if you are thinking about sending your child to Cranbourne or if you would like additional information.
