The Trafalgar School at Downton is an over-subscribed, co-educational, 11-16 comprehensive academy in the village of Downton, on the edge of the New Forest. Our students travel from a wide geographical area to attend Trafalgar, both within and outside of our designated admission area which extends as far as Bishopstone to the West, Whiteparish to the East, the southern edge of Salisbury to the North and Nomansland to the South. We now have 754 pupils enrolled in our 5 form entry school. The school now has more students than it did five years ago, when there were just 520 of them. The five Houses that make up our completely embedded House system are Breamore, Clarendon, Longford, Pembroke, and Radnor. Along with Wyvern College and St Edmund's Girls' School, The Trafalgar School was one of the founding institutions of the Magna Learning Partnership.
