Values-based Education is a method of instruction that incorporates values.
Values-based Education (VbE) is genuinely transformative because it gives the school community as a whole a framework for a positive attitude.
It directly affects every aspect of the curriculum, especially PSHE and the teaching of British values as well as the development of spiritual, moral, social, and cultural (SMSC) values.
All Towngate students are taught how values guide everything the academy does. This provides a meaningful context for British Values and SMSC and helps students comprehend how these values shape our society.
Being a values-based institution, we make sure that British Values are taught, discussed, and upheld through the larger values-based philosophy that permeates the school's ethos and activities.
