From the Torpoint Community College
In the South-East of Cornwall, Torpoint Community College is a vital element of the neighbourhood. Despite being in Cornwall, the College has strong connections to Plymouth's urban region because of its proximity. Due to this, there is a diverse group of students from the city and the village, and the College has a significant economic impact on the region. Many of the students who attend the college commute from Plymouth by ferry across the River Tamar, but the majority of them are from the Torpoint and Rame Peninsula. Approximately 650 people are currently listed on the rolls, with 90 of them being in the sixth form. TCC has a strong Sixth Form that offers post-16 pupils a wide selection of A Level disciplines. We also value our connections with Plymouth's Torpoint Nursery and Infant School, St. Germans Primary School, and numerous other elementary schools.
