Welcome to the Thomas Aveling School website, which we hope you will find useful and informative whether you are a prospective student, parent, or member of our school community wishing to learn more about us.
The Thomas Aveling School is a secondary non-selective co-educational school in Rochester that serves students aged 11 to 19.
Being the best that you can be is what we define as having a really successful education, and we are proud of every student's accomplishments and growth over the course of their academic careers.
We play a crucial part in improving educational possibilities for more than 3500 young people in Medway as the joint lead school of FPTA Academies.
Within Thomas Aveling, we hold everyone to the highest standards and collaborate closely with parents to maximise achievement and help shape children into kind, successful adults.
We are quite delighted that when students graduate from our programme at age 18 (or 16, in a small number of situations), they frequently go on to pursue higher education at universities or specialised colleges or high-caliber professions in a variety of fields.
Our kids' success is a result of the talent and perseverance of the Thomas Aveling personnel, who consistently raise the students' hopes and expectations and refuse to accept "ok" from them.
