For the first time, in January 1969, 371 kids between the ages of 5 and 11 attended Talbot Primary School. Pebble and Dash, two donkeys that resided on the school grounds and were looked after by the students, were part of the school community as well. The school boasts excellent amenities, such as a separate band room and specially designed sports locker rooms. Since the school's founding, Talbot has placed a great emphasis on both music and sport, showcasing numerous outstanding musical productions as well as gifted athletes. There are tennis courts, a sizable playground, and more than 5 acres of open area that may be used for both sports and outdoor education. Talbot Heath, an urban heath that is home to a variety of unique fauna, is also nearby.

Communication between the school and parents is absolutely shocking!! Teachers start great here, but past the 1st year, they seem like they couldnt care less,. Head teacher Miss Curtis spends more time at other schools, leaving the deputy head to run Talbot. Children's needs etc seem to take a back seat to the attendance statistics. All Miss Curtis seems to worry about is this area. A lot of parents have moved there children to Kingsleigh...
