From the Jewell Academy Bournemouth
The Jewell Academy is a fantastic institution.
When Ofsted inspected the Academy in June 2015, they found no room for improvement and rated us Outstanding in every category.
Every child is a jewel, special and unique, in my opinion.
We work hard to make sure a kid feels a sense of belonging from their very first day because we believe every child deserves to know they are special and different.
Our kids can take pride in their school and further their sense of belonging thanks to our stylish uniform that matches our sister schools in the South Coast District (Magna, Ocean, and Atlantic).
Collaboration with neighbouring schools is crucial to forging our identity in the neighbourhood and ensuring that all kids have the chance to compete.
We take great pride in being a part of a group of seven nearby schools as well as the larger Aspirations team of primary academies in West London and Banbury.
Making sure the curriculum is enjoyable, engaging, and pertinent is essential for ensuring that students become lifelong learners.
As the kids enter Year 1 and start using the National Curriculum, this keeps going.
Children must have literacy and numeracy abilities in order to access the world around them.
Our three school rules—"Safe, Ready, and Respect"—also guarantee that kids are safe in whatever they do, respectful of others, and prepared for anything—not just in school, but in life.
We provide parents and carers with a variety of chances to participate in school life so they can develop the knowledge and self-assurance necessary to support their children's academic progress.
Good progress and development in a child's education depend on parental engagement.
