Welcome to our lovely school, everyone.
A primary school with a hearty welcome and an even bigger heart is Stillness Junior School.
As the Headteacher here at Stillness, it is my responsibility to make sure that all students are secure, have a positive learning environment, and achieve academic and social success.
I recognise that selecting the best school for your child is a significant decision, and I hope this website provides you with some information about what we have to offer.
We have a very thorough staff "safeguarding" team that make sure the children are kept safe here in their educational setting as well as beyond the school gates, which is relevant for both those who already attend our fantastic school and those wishing to join.
I serve as the designated senior lead (DSL), or main safeguarding officer, and I am extremely well supported by another staff member who fills in for me when I'm away and often meets with me to discuss child protection and safety.
Miss A Polglaze is the deputy safeguarding officer (DHT).
Call the office to set up a visit if you'd like to come see the school for yourself.
