The Stifford Clays ward of Thurrock is home to the community school Stifford Clays Primary School, which serves children ages 2 to 11. It serves a multicultural neighbourhood and accepts all local youngsters. In 1954, the first baby and junior schools were constructed. Each school had only one entry point at first. Today, the school has expanded significantly to accommodate 90 students in each year group, with 120 students enrolled in Year 6. Our school developed a close relationship with William Edwards, the closest secondary school, in 2014, and we joined the South West Essex Community Education Trust, a group of 5 schools that also includes William Edwards, as an academy. As a family of schools, we collaborate closely and share knowledge, materials, creative ideas, and a passion for teaching and learning. South West Essex Community Education Trust Limited, a charitable organisation limited by guarantee formed in England and Wales under company number 07693309, runs Stifford Clays Primary School.
