All of our efforts are guided and supported by our active mission statement.
The notion that behaviour should firmly represent our mission statement is emphasised throughout the curriculum, particularly through assemblies, liturgies, and daily acts of communal prayer. Children are urged to uphold this standard.
The ideals of the Gospel—love, faith, hard work, tolerance, and respect for others—are what we advocate.
Our goal is for our children to develop into responsible, hardworking adults who can distinguish between right and wrong and see Christ in everyone.
Every term, kids in every year group have the chance to apply to be a member of the school council.
The value of laws—whether they are those that govern a class, a school, or a larger community—is taught to the kids.
The rules of the school, such as those governing the playground and safety, are taught to them.
As a school that upholds human rights, the students are educated about their own rights and freedoms and given instructions on how to exercise them responsibly while also respecting the rights of others.
With the help of the RE curriculum, PSHE programme, e-safety classes, and the topics covered in our Philosophy for Children agenda, they are encouraged to grow in their sense of personal responsibility.
Respect for each other's beliefs and tolerance of individuals of other faiths.
In our Catholic community, we embrace all people and see Christ in them.
Children are taught that their actions have an impact on both their own rights and those of other people.
All members of the community are expected to treat one another with respect, and our behaviour code, school regulations, and class charters serve as constant reminders of this.
Through assemblies, liturgies, and group worship, we actively urge the kids to learn how to treat others with respect.
Our main goal is to create a Catholic environment in which kids can grow spiritually and in their personal connection with God.
We also explore the teachings and philosophies of other world faiths through our RE curriculum and PSHE lessons.
Children are taught the need for tolerance in all aspects of life and are helped to find similarities rather than differences between different faiths and cultures.
We explore the diversity of our school community; children of different faiths and cultures are encouraged to share their knowledge to enhance learning within classes and throughout the school.
