At St. Mary's, we offer a safe, welcoming, and stimulating atmosphere via reflective practise, a creative curriculum, and an ethos rooted in Christian values.
Since 2001, we have been a values-based school, and as such, every three years, we get the Values Quality Mark.
Everything we do at St. Mary's is based on values-based education, and as a result, we offer a nurturing, joyful, and secure environment where each child is free to develop into a well-rounded individual, intellectually, morally, and spiritually.
We are honoured that Dr. Neil Hawkes has given us The Values Mark in recognition of our excellent efforts in values education.
Be excellent role models and continue to uphold our values.
The Values Ambassadors have a weekly spot during our Commendations Assembly where they can recognise students who are exemplifying the Values and share their stories with the school.
They will also be asked to a tea party with Mrs. Bingley and Mrs. Burraway at the conclusion of the half-term, where they will discuss what went well in their roles and what the school can do to further enhance values in our school.
The Values Ambassadors will serve in this capacity for a half term before handing the reins over to other kids.
