Our school has always been a Church Primary School since it was founded by the National Society in January 1874. Since its opening, the building has been extended several times and now provides five spacious classrooms; an area for infant activities, a library, two small computer areas, a large school hall and a school kitchen. A hard-surfaced play area is located in front of the school, while a hillside garden and playing field are located behind it. All of our classrooms are comfortable and inviting, with carpeting and nice furnishings. Display boards are a tool that teachers use to showcase student work and give students a resource during lessons. Children have access to computers in every school, and interactive white boards have been erected in every classroom. Our school has a welcoming, inviting atmosphere. A compassionate environment is actively fostered by both staff and students. We have strong ties to St. John's Church and other nearby schools. Please allow us to remind parents and carers that dogs are not permitted on school grounds due to Health and Safety considerations.
