As a Church of England Voluntary Controlled School, St. James' Church in the Whitehaven Parish is very important to us. Our goal is to establish a loving environment where our kids have a variety of possibilities to develop into whole individuals. Every child receives the education and training they need to confidently pursue their full potential. We will realise our goals in accordance with Christian principles. Your words are a lamp to my feet and a beacon for me to follow. 105 in Psalm 119. Forgiveness, Peace, Compassion, Thankfulness, Friendship, and Endurance were chosen by the entire school community as the school's basic Christian values. These values guide all activities at St. James', including time spent discussing them during RE lectures and group worship.
