We want to be a compassionate, faith-based community at St. James', a Catholic primary school with one form entry. We work to make sure that the teachings of the Catholic faith, which are founded in the Gospel ideals of love, peace, and justice, have an impact on every element of life at our school. Children from different denominations and religions are welcome at our schools if their parents appreciate our Catholic culture. The goal of all we do in the classroom is to raise the learning and potential of our students while pursuing the highest standards. Children and adults share a commitment to work hard, a drive to succeed, and a willingness to support one another as a school community. Together, we put in a lot of effort and enjoy engaging in rigorous learning. A theme curriculum approach that places a focus on richer creative arts activities is enjoyable for and beneficial to our kids. An intense sense of pride in being a part of the St. James' School Family is shared by students, teachers, parents, and governors.
