The Jesuit Pupil Profile has been produced by the schools of the British Jesuit Province to replace the Jesuit School Leaver Profile, which was published in 1995. This profile has been adopted by the Birmingham archdiocese for use in its educational institutions, and St. Gregory's uses it in a variety of ways to develop character. To propose a simple but challenging statement of the qualities we seek to develop in students, using key words which unfold Ignatius' own stated aim of "improvement in living and learning for the greater glory of God and the common good.". Rather than a profile of a school graduate, create one that covers the entire Jesuit educational experience (starting at age 3 or 5, 11 or 17, which are the typical British admission ages). to produce a JPP graphic that may be used with the official statement and looks like a tag cloud. They are wise in how they apply their knowledge for the good of society and learned, seeing God in everything. We have developed a tag-cloud style image which can be used (especially with children) to discuss the virtues of the Jesuit Pupil Profile. The Jesuit Pupil Profile printed pamphlet makes use of the color-coding of the pairs of virtues. using educational materials from a wide range of sources to aid students in understanding different religions. incorporating democracy into the school's ethos and culture within a set of norms and guidelines that are in place for everyone's benefit. Including material in the curriculum which considers the strengths, advantages and disadvantages of democracy and how democracy and the law work in Britain in contrast to other forms of government in other countries; fostering a keen awareness and understanding of democracy, government and how laws are made and upheld.
