From the St Birinus School
St. Birinus is an energetic and friendly school where we help our boys grow into successful, well-rounded young men who embody modern manhood and are ideally suited to both contribute to society and achieve personal achievement.
We as a school hold our pupils to extraordinarily high standards and offer them a variety of opportunities in all facets of school life.
We encourage the boys to set high standards for themselves in whatever they do while maintaining a clear focus on great teaching and learning.
Even though we are the only all-boys school in Oxfordshire, we collaborate with Didcot Girls' School through the Didcot Sixth Form, which is currently located on the St. Birinus campus. Ridgeway Education Trust is a multi-academy trust dedicated to educational excellence.
We place a great deal of value on this cooperation and see it as a catalyst for expanding educational opportunities in Didcot and the neighbourhood both now and in the future.
Our school's core values, which are "Inspiring Excellence through Care, Courtesy, and Commitment," serve as the cornerstone and compass of our learning community.
Find out more about our mission and beliefs by reading this.
Our ideals help us create an ambitious and motivated atmosphere that gives the boys consistently great outcomes that are far above the national average.
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, the traditional pillars of male interest, continue to flourish at St. Birinus, but there is also a wide range of other subjects that are well-represented and thriving, including photography, art, dance, drama, music, and modern foreign languages, including the recently added Mandarin Chinese.
We are quite proud of the boys at St. Birinus School for their spirit, originality, hard work, perseverance, loyalty, and sense of humour.
You are welcome to come and see us if you like.
