From the Springwell School
Springwell is a primary school for youngsters with challenging learning challenges, ages 4 to 11.
All of our kids struggle with learning severely, and many of them also have other challenges like autism, speech and language issues, and hard behaviour.
We take great satisfaction in the calibre of each student's education and our interactions with families and carers.
A recent considerable expansion of our purpose-built school resulted in the construction of two new buildings on our main campus: the Lower School for Years 1-2 and the Upper School for Years 3-6.
Although the students in these classes are full members of our school and are taught by Springwell staff, those classes are located in other schools on a daily basis.
As a Teaching School, Springwell is committed to improving educational practise to help children with SEND and their families. Some of the ways we do this include hiring new teachers, offering SEND-related courses, and participating in research to improve the services we already offer.
Please visit our teaching school website at https://www.southamptoninclusion.net for further details. In order to meet with you and provide you more information about our school, we welcome and encourage visits from potential parents.
Please get in touch with the school office if you'd like to schedule a parent tour.
