Our school, commonly referred to as "South," is a high-performing academy where students of all abilities have consistently earned scores at the GCSE and A level that are above the regional and statewide standards.
This is due to the fact that kids make extremely strong progress from their Year 9 starting points.
I hope that our prospectus and this website will offer you an understanding of what it's like to be a student here since I am aware that the move to high school or the sixth form is both an important and exciting time in your scholastic lives.
No of how they performed in middle or primary school, we have high expectations for all of our students and work to give you the knowledge and experience you need to succeed in your next stage of life after graduation.
This can entail enrolling in our highly successful Sixth Form and continuing on to University, or it might entail choosing a route that involves more specialised training, an apprenticeship, or work-related studies.
Every year, we hear from previous pupils who are content with their careers and who serve as a reminder that they learned the skills necessary for success from us.
We received an exceptional rating from Ofsted in all categories, including achievement, teaching quality, leadership, behaviour, and overall effectiveness.
The school's minister, Nick Gibb, sent a letter to us in 2016 congratulating us on being one of the top 100 non-selective schools in the nation.
The outstanding arts programme and the country's largest school-based Duke of Edinburgh's Award centre considerably enhance the outstanding choice of disciplines and courses, according to inspectors, who also noted this in their report.
One of only 500 such facilities in the nation, our institution received the designation of National Teaching School in 2014 in recognition of its excellence in Initial Teacher Education and Leadership Development.
We share with them our pride in our school and are proud of our students and what they accomplish.
