Welcome to the webpage for Shirley Manor Primary Academy. In 2014, Shirley Manor Academy became a part of the Inspire Trust. The Inspire Trust was disbanded after an Ofsted inspection found the trust's high school to be deficient. Since the school is currently a Stand Alone Trust, we are not a part of a network of multiple academies. We are a highly unique institution that enjoys recognising achievement on all levels. Enthusiasm and the desire to succeed power the school's daily operations. Our goal is to make learning engaging, fascinating, and stimulating. We would like to believe that we have numerous strengths, not only academic ones, despite the fact that SAT scores are frequently touted as a success indicator. We wish to instil in our kids a love of learning that will last throughout their academic careers and adult lives. Teamwork is a necessary component for this to happen. We see education as a collaborative effort involving everyone—students, parents, teachers, administrators, governors, and the larger community. In this relationship, we want to be able to rely on your cooperation and assistance in order to give every child the best possible care. We take pride in being an inclusive school that welcomes students from a variety of socioeconomic, racial, and ethnic backgrounds, fostering a vibrant and varied learning environment. We will explain to them the difference between right and wrong in this context, as well as how to solve difficulties and that everyone deserves respect. We are confident that with a talented team of both teaching and non-teaching staff we can provide a smooth transition for any child joining the school and strive to meet the needs of all. If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
